Walking down the streets alone
Watching people come and go
It seems so strange to me they are
Just things
Pieces of meat that smile and cry
Emptiness behind their eyes
Millions of talking puppets
All alike
Oh, I feel so lonely
Yet stronger than I've ever been
It's a privilege to be watching
From outside
The world's a song and I'm a note
That really doesn't fit
Though I'm right here I don't belong
And I can't stand deceit
Personality
A bag of bricks I learned to carry
Ironic as it is
I feed from what I despise
I observe a symphony
That's wrecked and out of tune
Conducted by some entity
Of chaos, pure and true
I'm a watcher
Watcher
Watcher
And I'm watching you
Watcher
Watcher
Watcher
Forever
People tend to try and find
An order to live by
Each one with a function, attribution
Led by lies
Personality
A bag that keeps on getting heavier
The irony remains
I'm looking from outside
